Thredbo Village is located in the heart of the Snowy Mountains.

By Car

Travelling to Thredbo is a picturesque tourist drive and is approximately:

• 5.5 hours from Sydney,
• 6.5 hours from Melbourne,
• 2.5 hours from Canberra,
• 3 hours from Albury-Wodonga via Corryong and Khancoban.

Thredbo is situated in the Kosciuszko National Park and the National Parks and Wildlife Service collect an entry fee into the park. A daily fee of $16 in summer and $27 in winter or an annual fee may be purchased for $190 that also gains entry to all national parks within NSW. Parking your car

Thredbo has the capacity to park 2,200 cars in designated car parks, and many lodges, apartments and chalets have additional on-site parking. Check your parking options with your accommodation centre or manager when booking.

By Air + Shuttle or Rental Car

Most airlines service Canberra Airport from major Australian cities. Canberra Airport is about 2.5 hours drive from Thredbo. Rental car services exist between Canberra, Cooma and Thredbo. Check with the airline when making a booking. Please also note the differences in seasonal service levels.
